Jess Blackwell is a British-Canadian actor and producer currently based out of Toronto, Canada. She has performed in both dramatic and comedic projects and has received on-camera training in the Meisner technique, method acting, and other approaches. She has also completed voice-over training with a focus on animation and commercial work. 

Having first completed an MA in philosophy before transitioning into a full-time career in film and television, Jess leverages her knowledge of topics such as self-development, identity, and communication to craft rich, grounded, and deeply human performances. Her goal is always to present authentic, believable moments that connect with audiences. 

As of 2024, Jess has produced four short films with the help of her team of award-winning actors and filmmakers.
